Radio personality Otim Stephen Acire aka Palaring has been honored with Best Radio Talk Show Host of the Year 2025 at the Peace Journalism Foundation East Africa awards. 

Stephen, one of several exceptional journalists recognized, took to social media to express his gratitude, saying radio has always been his passion,

According to him, the acknowledgement for something he love doing is truly a dream come true.

He dedicated the award to listeners of his weekly talk show on Radio Pacis 101.4 FM Gulu, saying the award isn’t just his. 

He thanked his mentors and guests for making the program possible, stating it inspires him to be better daily.
