As the final chapters of his tenure unfold, Eddy Kenzo stands not with nostalgia, but with vision.

Creatives give the world beauty, meaning, and memory, yet too often, they leave it without a place to rest in dignity.

Some depart quietly, their songs still echoing, their stories unfinished, their families left searching not just for comfort, but for somewhere worthy to lay them to rest.

It was this reality that stirred a deeper resolve in Kenzo.

According to the Mbilo Mbilo artiste, he wants to advocate an establishment of a cemetery for the creative arts.

“When I am still the President of UNMF in the remaining tenure of my term, I will advocate for the establishment of a cemetery where we can burry creatives whose families provide consent,” Kenzo said, re-echoing the late Herman Basudde wish of receiving a similar sendoff.

“It would be fitting to have a designated resting place for creatives only, as some lack burial grounds yet deserve a dignified farewell.” Eddy Kenzo added.
