Nyero Francis, born on the 2nd Feb, 1991. He goes by the stage name Mr. Lafta, is a Northern Uganda Gospel Artist.
Mr. Lafta started gravitating towards music in primary school. In 2010, he first learned to play the guitar, write music, and began leading worship at Antioch Church, Gulu. His music career developed underground while he focused on writing his own songs and leading worship.
He attended schools like Gulu Town School for primary education, went to Gulu Central High School for secondary studies and later joined Gulu University.
In 2020, Mr. Lafta recorded his first song titled Lord Jesus which was produced from Antioch studios.
In early 2021, he recorded two new songs, Mara Ni Yesu and Kwo Wiloboni.
After these songs, Mr. Lafta teamed up with his younger brother Opiro Moses aka Junior Ice. He was born on the 15th Feb, 1992.
The latter is a rapper, singer, songwriter who came up as a true gospel artist in 2021.
These two brothers are well known for their love and positivity in committing to sharing the gospel to young generations through their songs like, be like you, sing hallelujah, follow you, among others.
As you can predict, their goals are to sing songs that draw people nearer to God and give a platform for younger generations to learn how to worship the true God with all their hearts mind, body, and soul.
